i helped Mr.Liberal on his computer today.

two of his problems just magically disappeared
with out me doing anything. must have been
a USER ERROR, or maybe I did something psyhic.

he said there was a bug because the files were
displayed in LIST format instead of ICON
format. i showed him how to change the display
format to icons.

i installed a piece of software that allows
him to convert WAV files into MP3 files. i 
think its called freerip. we did a test on
on one file and it compressed it from 143K
down to under 1K. we uploaded the file to
indymedia and it appeared to work when we
downloaded it and listened to it.

i think mr libertal is still having problems
getting "cool edit" to spit out its final
product in MP3 format. you may want to run
that by him.

if its easier you can call mr liberal. his
